KinderREADy Parents/Guardians,

Your student will automatically rollover for Kindergarten to their homeschool over the summer. This is based on the address you provided at registration. Please be sure your updated address is on file.

*You may need to provide an updated immunization record with your student's "kindergarten immunizations."

• Go on an insect hunt and find 5 different insects.
• Collect 3 leaves and find what kind of tree they are from.
• Say the Pledge of Allegiance.
• Make something out of sticks and leaves.
• Describe the weather today.
• Write 5 facts about an animal.
• Observe the clouds and describe what you see.
• Do an experiment.

• Count to 120
• Count by 5's to 100
• Count by 2's to 100
• Count by 10's to 100
• Practice your addition facts with flash cards
• Practice your subtraction facts with flash cards
• Go on a shape hunt
• Write a word problem and solve it
• Think of an odd number
• Write the numbers from 1-120
• Practice counting money

• What is a noun? Name 5 nouns.
• What is a verb? Name 5 verbs.
• Write a complete sentence.
• Write a story about your summer.
• Make a mini book about an animal.
• Name the one vowel rule.
• Name the two vowel rule.
• Write 5 rhyming words.
• Count syllables in words.

• Read a book
• Write about your favorite book character
• Go to the library
• Read in a tent or blanket fort
• Read outside on a blanket
• Read to your family
• Read to a stuffed animal
• Make a commercial advertising your favorite book
• Read a poem
• Read a recipe in a cook book
