Our amazing judges, Growing Future Farmers and our Stratford High School ex students that came back to help. SPORTS UPDATE
School Athletics
Our school athletics will be held on Tuesday 29th October. We will be splitting the day into two sections with the Y5-8 students competing in field events from 11.30-1.00 and then the junior school joining in for the track events in the afternoon. Attached is a timetable (please note times are an approximation only). Children are asked to wear their house colours for athletics and all children will need a sunhat.
The Friends of Toko School (FOTS) team will be selling the following only:
Sausage and bread and a small chocolate bar for $3.00. Children will need to bring the money to school on Tuesday. This will be collected in by the classroom teacher in the morning.
We require one more junior parent that can assist with cooking and selling the food from 12 - 2pm on Tuesday. Please contact the office if you can help.
TOKO PIG HUNT 2024 SPONSORS
The Pig Hunt has had such a great response from the above sponsors! We thank them for their support and ask that you consider supporting these businesses in the future.
SHOEBOX CHRISTMAS
One of our school goals this year is to give back to our community and make a difference which aligns with our Green Star.
Shoe box christmas is one way we are doing this.....
Thank you to those families that have contributed to the Shoebox Christmas so far.
We are still in need of the following items for BOYS only aged 8 to 10 years.
*books
*something to do- eg games, puzzles, art supplies(felts, paper, coloured pencils), toys
*something to treasure - e.g drink bottles, action figures, lego, hot wheels cars, vouchers(pools, paperplus, subway)
Something to eat- (non perishable).
This is our chance to give back to families in need in the Stratford Community.
HANGI MEETING
We will be having a quick 10 minute meeting this Tuesday after school at 3pm to quickly discuss where we are up to with the hangi organisation and what needs to be done next. There is a bit of a list and we need to go through it and see what is achieveable and start sorting jobs etc. We would really appreciate attendance at this meeting.
Cheers Megan

Toko’s got Talent
This term we have decided to organise Toko's Got Talent. This is a fun event that students can enter to share something they are good at or show off a hidden talent. There will be a form on each classroom door to sign up next week. You may like to enter individually or as a group. This will be held on Friday Week 6. Get practising, we hope to see you there!
