Clothing Reminder
Please ensure your child keeps a spare set of clothes in their book bag (shirt, socks, underwear, pants, and shoes). With spills, recess, and accidents, having extras will help tremendously. Thank you for your support!
Celebrating 101 Days of School
We’ll celebrate 101 days of school on Friday, January 31, with a Dalmatian theme (black and white). It’s a fun way to mark this milestone!
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, February 6 and Wednesday, February 12. Look for information coming home soon on how to schedule a meeting with your child’s teacher.
Valentine’s Day Parties
Class parties for Kindergarten–2nd Grade are scheduled for Thursday, February 13. Your child’s teacher will send home more details soon.
Birthday Treat & Holiday Party Reminder
To ensure the safety of all our students, we kindly ask that any birthday or holiday treats brought to school be prepackaged or purchased from a source where nutritional information can be verified online. For example, treats from Dunkin' Donuts allow us to look up ingredients and nutritional facts.
This policy helps us accommodate students with food allergies, diabetes, and other health concerns, making celebrations safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Important Transportation Update for 2025-2026 School Year
Beginning next school year (2025-2026), students will have a consistent, one-way transportation arrangement home from school to ensure their safety and simplify tracking. Families will need to select one primary transportation method for their child: riding the bus home, being picked up in the car loop, or walking home.
Please note that CHIPP Early Release Fridays will remain an exception to this policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to create a safe and efficient dismissal process for all students!
Don't Forget to Dress for the Weather
As we are getting into the cold months, please make sure your child is dressed appropriately. We are going to assume that the coat your child is wearing to school is the one they will wear to recess. We play outside as long as the temperature is above 20 degrees (including wind chill). If your child is in need of a coat, gloves and/or hat, please reach out to the office.
