LWV 21st Century Student Citizen Leadership Program: Student citizens from all over the county are coming together for fun and conversation. Part of Melani Linares' group capstone project, this community event takes place on May 21st--a change in date from last week's newsletter--at Columbus park in Port Chester! • Congratulations Varsity Softball and Coaches Spedafino and Calvini for earning the #2 seed in the Section 1 Class B Softball Championships!!! Rye Neck hosts the quarterfinal matchup on Friday, May 17th at 4:30 p.m.
• Congratulations Varsity Boys Lacrosse and Coaches Sable, Bica and Kronenberger for earning the #12 seed in Section 1’s Class D Boys Lacrosse Championships!! The team travels to #5 Haldane on Friday for a first round game.
  
• Congratulations Varsity Boys Tennis and Coach Levine for qualifying for the Section 1's Singles and Doubles Tennis Championships this weekend at Harrison!

On Monday, May 13th, the final PAC meeting was held at DW. This district-wide event offered a presentation of the 2024-25 budget and a summary of key elements of our new Strategic Plan. Afterwards, individual building PACs met and reflected on the work of the past year, and began to think about the year ahead.

We would like to thank outgoing high school PAC members Farrah DiMaggio, Jocelyn Donat and Michelle Goodman-Kramer for all their hard work, insight and energy over the past two years. We look forward to three new members joining the high school PAC along with second year members Erika Briscoe, Cara Bruno and Yoko Kawai. If you are interested in becoming a member of our high school PAC, please email a letter of interest to voddo@ryeneck.org by June 1.
