Irish Gifted Academy
Week of November 3rd, 2024
Hey IGA Family!
This past week was filled with exceptional learning, engagement, and community spirit. Our classrooms were alive with curiosity and dedication as students eagerly participated in various activities and lessons that support their academic growth. It’s always inspiring to see how committed our students and staff are to fostering a vibrant learning environment.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who made our Fall Festival such a tremendous success! With a wonderful turnout, it was a perfect day of fun, fellowship, and shared joy. From organizing games to running activities and serving refreshments, your efforts made the event a memorable experience for everyone involved.
As we approach the midway point of our second nine weeks, please take a moment to check in on your child’s academic progress. Staying aware of their current performance and areas of strength or improvement is essential as we work together to support their success. If you have any questions, our teachers are always here to provide guidance.
This week also brought exciting news from our athletics! A huge shoutout to our Fighting Irish middle and high school football teams for clinching the region championship—your hard work and determination have truly paid off, and we’re all so proud! Additionally, congratulations to both our boys’ and girls’ soccer teams for winning their first games of the season. These victories highlight the dedication of our athletes and coaches and add to our school spirit.
A friendly reminder that the Junior Beta Club’s Chicken Salad Chick Fundraiser is underway, with all orders due by November 14th. Funds raised will help cover convention fees, supporting our students in pursuing academic and leadership development opportunities. Thank you in advance for your support!
Finally, let’s remember the importance of reading with your child for at least 15 minutes each day. This small daily habit makes a big difference in building literacy skills and fostering a lifelong love for reading.
Thank you all for your continued support and engagement in our school community. Together, we make our school a place where learning, growth, and camaraderie flourish.
With Gratitude,
Mr. Taylor
