Message From the Office

Dear Families,

Academic rigor involves engaging students in activities that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. It means that students are not just memorizing facts but are encouraged to ask questions, make connections, and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways.

Our goal is to create an environment where students feel challenged yet supported. We want them to experience learning that is rewarding and builds their confidence, resilience, and curiosity. We are implementing the following throughout our day:

* Mr. Spencer and I were able to secure two $1,000 dollar scholarships for anyone that plans on an Engineering Technology degree at Pittsburg State. Please see Mr. Kramer if you are interested.

* 11-14-24 Pratt Community College is hosting a Technical Education day on campus/ Deadline to Register is 11-1-24. Click here to register

* 11-26-24 ACT Prep Day with Chad Cargill on the morning of November 26th from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at Prairie View High School : Cost is $40. Please see Mr. Kramer if you are interested. We will provide transportation.

* The FAFSA opens up 12-1-24. A few days after it opens up Mr. Kramer will designate a time at school to help any senior that needs help with their FAFSA.
