Florida Ready to Work (FL RTW)
Florida Ready to Work (FL RTW) is a state-sponsored, research-based career readiness program designed to equip students with essential workplace employability skills. This program allows students to earn skills and credentials in three specific areas: Soft Skills, Digital Skills, and Academic Employability Skills. Each training module consists of instructional content, a knowledge-check quiz, and practical exercises that help learners apply the skills to real-world scenarios. At the end of each module, students complete a post-assessment to reinforce and demonstrate their understanding.
The online, career-contextualized training is self-directed and self-paced, providing students with the flexibility to access course content from any computer or tablet, at school or home. Students and staff can access Florida Ready to Work by clicking the WIN app on their MyPascoConnect dashboard.
Students who successfully complete the post-assessment earn stackable credentials, providing verified evidence of their preparedness for the workforce. Schools will receive funding for each individual credential earned by a student ($10 per credential earned, up to $30 per student).

Attendance is entered into our student tracking system, myStudent, every Tuesday and parents will receive an automated call if a student has not completed at least one assignment in each class. The goal of these calls is to share this information with parents so they can help students get back on track.
Our goal is to work with families to ensure that all students are successful learners. Below is a link to the excused absence form for students who may need an absence excused. Absence Form Grades 6-12
