Dear New Vision Charter School Family,
We want to thank you for your patience as we have carefully planned for student material pick up.
In order to support you and your children in getting all of their items back to them in a safe, concise manner we have created a process for student pick up in both the K-3 and 4-8 buildings. Please read the dates and times for grade level materials pick up:

During materials pick up we are asking parents to follow the process below.
Enter through the drive-through lane.
Proceed through the driveline as directed until you come to a complete stop.
Prior to arrival write your child’s name and grade on the provided Student Materials Pick Up Checklist Please indicate the items that you are picking up and dropping off.
Once you are at a complete stop in the driveline a teacher will come retrieve your completed checklist, take any items that need to be returned (Chromebooks and textbooks), gather all the items noted on the list, and bring them back to your vehicle.
AT NO POINT SHOULD PARENTS OR STUDENTS GET OUT OF THEIR VEHICLE.
Yearbooks: ALL YEARBOOKS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED AT THE 4-8 CAMPUS (299 PERIDOT AVE).
K-3 families: please use the second driveline lane to get a yearbook. A staff member will be present to guide you to the right line.
4-8 families with students picking up materials: a teacher will gather your yearbook for you and bring it to you with your other items.
Do not get out of your car to get your yearbook. We will have a staff member retrieve the yearbook and bring it to your vehicle.
Please continue to watch the New Vision Charter School website, Facebook, and your emails for additional updates.

Middle School Counselor Corner
I sure have missed seeing your kids every day! I think the hustle and bustle of the school day is definitely missed by us all. I hope your kids have settled well into online learning by now. I know that being at home takes its toll on our well-being and may cause some feelings of isolation in some. I wanted to provide a resource for you that could be beneficial to helping your kids cope with stress, sad feelings. It also will help them identify when to reach out to an adult for help or to talk. I feel it would be very useful for the kids and even better if you choose to watch it together with them in the hopes that they'll open up about any feelings they might be having. It is a short video and developed in Larimer County, Colorado.

Please also know that I continue to be here for your kids. We can talk via phone, video chat, or email. Please let me know if there is anything I can help you with along the way.
