· 10 hours a week, depending on the week

· Hours: 7:15am-8:00am & 2:45pm-3:15pm

Student Absence Notes

To ensure proper documentation for student absences, parents are required to submit a signed note within three school days of the student’s absence. Alternatively, parents can enter the absence request directly into Skyward, the school's online system. Please note that emails or phone calls suffice for notifying the teacher and/or office, but will not be accepted as an excuse note. Failure to provide the required documentation within the specified time frame may result in the absence being marked as unexcused.

PREKINDERGARTEN - REGISTRATION FOR 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

Registration for the 2025-2026 School Year

Anderson ECS, elementary and middle school campuses will soon receive a double-sided prekindergarten registration poster in both English and Spanish through inner school mail. Please display the new posters near your school’s entrance, replacing last year’s version.

Please include the following information and flyers in your upcoming campus newsletter:

Prekindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year opens on April 1st.

Allen ISD offers a full-day prekindergarten program for students who are 4 years old by September 1, live within the boundaries of Allen ISD, and meet at least one of the state’s eligibility criteria. The full-day program consists of both monolingual and bilingual classes and is located at George J. Anderson Early Childhood School. Please click on the link(s) below for more information:

PLEASE HAVE YOUR STUDENT CHECK LOST & FOUND

Please write your student's name inside lunch boxes, sweaters, jackets, etc. Also, encourage your child to check the lost and found for any missing belongings. We will be take items left over spring break to ACO.
