Dear Hayshire Families,

Join us for May Day on Saturday, May 3 from 10:00 to 2:00 PM. This is a wonderful family event and Hayshire tradition! We will have door prizes, games, a bounce house, sand art, and face painting. Be sure to check out the petting zoo! The Scholastic Book Fair will be located in the Hayshire music room. Buy one get one free! Our food trucks will include Sarah's Creamery, Bricker's Famous French Fries, LettUsKnow, and G's Fresh Oven Pizza! We are still in need of volunteers. Please consider volunteering your time to make this a great community event!

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is May 5 through May 9. It's a time to honor our caring, hard-working, and dedicated Hayshire teachers and staff! Every day, they go above and beyond to take care of our students and make learning a meaningful and joyful experience. Our generous PTO has an amazing week planned to help us celebrate!

CYSD is hosting Our Beautiful Neighborhood, a Remake Learning celebration! The event is held on May 21 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Hayshire Elementary. The school is being transformed into a neighborhood and we hope that you will stop by for a visit. There will be many neighborhood stops that promote hands-on learning and lots of fun! This year's stops feature: Photo Booth, Recording Studio, Library, Paw-sitive Public Relations, Sweet Shop, Sensory Spa, Robotics Workshop, Warehaus Architecture Firm, Yoga Studio, Land of Make Believe, Art Studio, Rau Family Farm, and Thank You Note Nook! The entire community is invited to this event and admission is free. Please visit the website to register and see what community members have helped create this experience.

Move The Pride

We are planning for Move the Pride on Tuesday, June 3.

Your child will have the opportunity to move to their new classroom for the day. More details to come!

May 5-9 is Teacher Appreciation Week. PTO is collecting donations to provide food for our teachers/staff throughout the week. If you would like to donate, please click on this link.
Hershey Park tickets are ready for pick up! If you ordered tickets through Hayshire PTO, they are ready for pick up at the school's office.
Third Grade Event is scheduled for Friday, May 23. If you would like to volunteer your time and/or make a donation, please click on this link.

CYSD Summer Camps

The Central York School District is proud to offer Summer Camp programs for students of various ages throughout June through August. The programs are available at District Schools, run by Central York Faculty and Staff Members. The camps are open to ALL students who live in the District within the recommended age/grade level (based on 25/26 school year). Your student does not have to attend the school in which the camp is held to participate! Registration is open through May 9, 2025 at 11 PM.
