Beat the Winter Blues

Christmas break is finally upon us! Winter time can make it easy to fall into a slump of the same indoor activities. It can also be a great time for extra family bonding! Family bonding can strengthen family relationships, strengthen family communication, improve mental health, boost self-confidence, and reinforce love and belonging. Here are some ideas of indoor activities to try when you find yourself at home this winter:

Cook/bake together
Do a puzzle
Build a lego village
Read winter themed stories
Set up a scavenger hunt
Build a fort
Create an obstacle course
Winter crafts
Learn something new together
Decide on a service project for your family (ex: collect socks for homeless or serve at a soup kitchen)

Little Dawg Basketball - Register by January 4th

It's the little dawgs turn! Registration is now open for Little Dawgs Basketball! This fundamental skills program is a 6-week program that takes place on Saturday mornings for boys and girls Kindergarten-2nd grade. The deadline to register is January 4th!

Reminder: Students will need all of their winter gear! This includes **snow pants and boots**, especially with snow on the ground and real-feel temperatures expected to drop below 32°F.
