Odds & Ends
Field Day: Thank you for snack donations for Field Day! There are still slots available if you can help on Field Day, morning and/or afternoon shift. Here is the link: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0c4baea92aa6f94-2017
On Field Day, students are welcome to wear a shirt to get signed. They are also encouraged to wear tennis shoes. A towel and dry socks are optional items they may also wish to bring. We will be outside a majority of Field Day, so please consider an application of sunscreen at home in the morning.
Spelling Tests: We have finished our spelling lessons for the year. We will be using spelling time to complete end of the year Pathways testing.
Reading Log: The March reading log was the last in the Book-It Program. Even though there is not an April or May reading log going home, kids are encouraged to continue the great habit of reading at home.
Sight Word Lists: Each month, we assess the students on reading a list of common words, also known as sight words. For more information and a list of the words, please click here: Monthly Sight Word Lists.
