Spring semesters can feel like races, with school calendars packed with events and graduation day always just around the corner. Our teachers and staff at Crossroads Academy use systems to ensure that we do our best to slow the race, to stop and celebrate student success from daily goals to individual graduations. This week, we celebrated our former Student Ambassador Organization President Noel Camacho, who has become our newest graduate. Noel has had a great presence on our campus for several years now, including participation in community service events, campus clubs, and poetry and art competitions. He has served as an exemplar of attendance and achievement, and earning many Friday Flowers recognitions along the way. We are very proud of his graduation accomplishment, and know that this milestone is just the beginning for a young man destined for greater success.

This week, we return from Spring Break and open our doors to a new cohort of students in our final New Student Orientation for the 23/24 school year. These new students are taking their first steps toward their own success stories at Crossroads. We also join with all of Uvalde CISD in working toward the Attendance Incentive Plan. We know that student success and regular attendance go hand in hand.
