Dear parents and carers.
What a lovely week of sunshine we have had! The children have had a great week enjoying themselves outside. It has been another week full of great learning, and it has been great to see so much enthusiasm as I have moved around the classrooms.
As you will see below, the Friends of Kirk Fenton are working hard on their summer events. We are really looking forward to the summer fair on the 29th June, and on Friday 24th May, they are holding a books and bakes sale on the playground after school. Donations of cakes would be greatly appreciated!
Have a lovely weekend.

Message from Head Pupils
This week has been a quiet week, year 6 have been preparing for their SATS next week and everyone has been enjoying the sunshine - summer has finally arrived! It is the lovely Miss Graham's last day today, we are all going to miss her. The children in year 6 remember her being their TA when they were younger! We wish her the best of luck at her new job.
Head pupil awards go to Brooke, Sylvana, Oliver K and Elin.
Freddie & Ella
Well done to everyone who has worked hard this week on their maths skills. It really helps children in class if they practise these basic maths skills, it makes their maths learning much easier to understand.
Special congratulations go to Alfie W, Masie A, Elin C and Hugo O who are our Numbots Superstars this week. Our Rockstars of the Week are Seb E, Erin N, Aidan H and Will G. Well done everyone.
Next week we will have a competition to see which class are working the hardest. Every minute spent playing a game on either TTR or Numbots between the hours of 7am and 7pm each day for the next week will go towards your class total. The class with the greatest number of minutes will earn a free playtime. I wonder who it will be?
