Summer homework is required for select Honors and/or Advanced Placement (AP) courses in the fall of 2022-23 school year (some file dates may be old, but they are still valid and reused year after year, so disregard the date under "Modified").

Students who do not complete the assignments risk earning a zero for that assignment in their fall semester grade.

If your course is not listed, then there is no summer homework assignment

On Jan. 1, 2019, Senate Bill 328 went into effect as Education Code 46148 which mandates districts to ensure intermediate schools start at 8 a.m. or later, and high schools start at 8:30 a.m. or later by July 1, 2022.

As a reminder, our secondary school start times to the following:

• Comprehensive High Schools will all begin at 8:30 a.m.

The first Wednesday of the school year (August 10) will NOT be a late start day. Period 1 will begin at 8:30am. Late start Wednesday's will begin on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.

All CNUSD students will receive free meals regardless of their eligibility for the 2022-23 school year.

Please note: Parents are still encouraged to fill out the free or reduced meals application as you may qualify for additional services, such as waived SAT/PSAT fees, CalWORKS, and more. Click here to learn more about the free or reduced meal program.

We want to showcase our Norco High School students in our Back to School Video.

1. Create a sign saying your student's grade, favorite subject, and what they want to be when they grow up.

The State of California requires that all school districts provide parents and guardians with certain notices from the California Code of Regulations, the California Education Code and other laws and regulations relative to the operation of our local public school system. Throughout the year you will receive additional important information from your child’s school. Parking Passes will be available to purchase. Make sure to have current registration and insurance available and printed.

Parents can sign for off campus lunch passes during this time.
