Semester 1
Foreword
This semester 5/6L have worked incredibly hard and should be proud of what they have achieved. This class newsletter outlines a few things that we have worked on throughout this semester. I hope you enjoy this newsletter!

Creative Arts
In addition, students experimented with using different art techniques such as using wax crayons, water colour paints and acrylic paint.
Below students have attempted to create their own version of Sidney Nolan's Wimmera (from Mount Arapiles) using oil pastels.

Below is Jorjuos drawing the fractions out visually to determine if one of the fractions is greater than, less than or equal to the other fraction.
Speech Preparation
Before students wrote their speech, they were shown a TED talk from a 12 year old app developer. The purpose was to get students to reflect upon what made a good speech. Students used a Y-Chart in order to identify what a good speech looks like, feels like and sounds like.
