💡 PIE Centre Spotlight 💡
PIE qathet Region
The qathet Region PIE centre is the original location of our school. It is located in the qathet School district on the stunningly beautiful Sunshine Coast. Sunsets over the Salish Sea are something to behold! In the qathet Region, we provide a dynamic and supportive learning environment for our students. Oceanview offers In-Person Opportunities, a dedicated Study Hall, and welcoming spaces for students to meet, collaborate, and learn together. Whether students need a quiet place to focus or a community to engage with, we are here to support their educational journey.
If you get to visit our Oceanview campus, you could come say hello to our outstanding office staff, Linda, Loretta and Lisa, our excellent EAs, Vicky, Dawn, Norma, Naomi, and Gretchen, our terrific teachers, Erin, Fil, Hayley, Hillary, Jenna, Jessica, Jody, Kerri, Kersten, Marissa, Robyn, Sabrina, Trish, and Vanessa, our crackerjack counsellor, Jocelyn, and our rad regional principal, Ian.

🍲 Support Zone Soup-Making 🥕
We have been having soup on Wednesdays, made by our excellent EAs and any students who want to help out. The last soup we had was 'Fridge Soup', which was a term we all learned for using up the veggies in the fridge. Everyone agreed the tomato, potato, carrot conncoction was exactly what we all needed on one of those really cold days we had this month. Thanks to our soup-makers (and those who make it possible to make soup each week).
