A Message from Mrs. Inman
Dear Rock Ledge Families,
We are excited to kick March off by recognizing Read Across America Week! Throughout the week we will be showcasing some special authors and having some fun dress up days. We are also once again looking forward to our Rock Ledge Family night.
Save the date! Summer School will be held on June 10th-June 27th. This year we will be offering summer school to students who are currently in 4K-2nd grade. Current 4K-1st grade students will attend summer school at RLP. Current 2nd graders will attend summer school at RLI. The online registration window opens on March 4th at 6pm and closes on Friday, March 15th. Breakfast will be available for students this summer with costs coming out of their lunch account, similar to the school year.

Furry Friend Reminder
As the weather continues to warm up and more people are walking to meet their kids, please remember dogs should not be at school during dismissal. Some students are afraid of dogs, and some dogs are overwhelmed by the number of students. We love our dogs just as much as everyone else does, but for everyone's safety we ask all dogs stay home or in the car.

Extra Clothes
Just a reminder to make sure your child has a change of clothes in their locker. Accidents happen, mud, spilled milk, fun looking puddles, and many other types so it is best to be prepared. Unfortunately the school office has run out of pants so if your child does not have a spare in their locker and needs to change we will need to make a phone call home. As a side note, if you are looking to donate clothes your kids have outgrown, we are looking for gently worn boys and girls pants, sizes 6-12. Thank you in advance.
School Social Work Week
School Social Worker Week is marked every first full week of March to celebrate school social workers across the nation and appreciate their work in helping students achieve academic success. It is during this week we would like to thank Ms. Jeanna Zuelke for everything she does for our students and their families. We appreciate you Ms. Zuelke.
