Dear Hayshire Families,

Today's the day! Boomer's Book Club is coming to Hayshire on Friday, March 28. Downtown, the York Revolution mascot, and Rosie, the team dog, will pay us a visit! Boomer's Book Club incentivizes children to grow as readers and get the fun of York Revolution baseball and other prizes in return! Read up to four books. Record the title of the books on the provided bookmark. Redeem your completed bookmark in the Shipley Energy Ticket Office at WellSpan Park for your prizes! Bookmarks and letters will go home after the assembly.

Single: Receive a free ticket, good for any of the Boomer's Book Club dates.
Double: Receive a kid's meal voucher.
Triple: Receive a FREE UPMC Children's Playground pass.
Home Run: Receive an exclusive Boomer's Book Club Color-Me Pencil Case.

Let the good times roll! The Hayshire Skating Party at Roll 'R' Way was a big success! So many of our Hayshire children attended an evening of enjoyable roller skating! Thank you to our Hayshire PTO for organizing this event!

This year, our third graders will take the ELA and Math PSSA. ELA will take place on April 23, 24, and 25. The Math portion will take place on April 29 and 30. Last week, PSSA letters were sent home with our third graders. Third graders and families are welcome to sign up to attend a fun and informative evening event on Wednesday, April 2 at 6 PM.

Next Friday, our second graders head to the Appell Center for the Performing Arts. The Stage the Page program inspires and encourages young learners to read while exposing them to theatrical productions!

Monday, March 31 is the final day to purchase discount Hershey Park tickets through our Hayshire PTO. Check out the flyers below!

Hayshire's music teacher, Mr. Daugherty, is sharing a new song in music class. It's an original bus safety song he created using AI! He used the words, bus safety kids hip hop, and, voila, out came a song! The title of the song is Stay Safe on the Bus.

The Hayshire Art Show is scheduled for Thursday, April 10 from 6:00-7:30 pm. All students will have a piece on display. All participants will have an opportunity to create in our Maker Station! Third Grade PSSA

2025-2026 Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten Registration is now open for the 2025/2026 school year. We are excited to welcome upcoming Kindergartner to our Panther Family. Per District Policy, students must be five years of age on or before August 31, 2025 to be enrolled for Kindergarten. Kindergarten Registration will take place at Hayshire Elementary on Monday, April 14 and Tuesday, April 15. You will select a 30 minute time slot. Your child should attend with you that day!
