Paw Prints Newsletter
June Update
From the Principal's Desk
Dear SHS Families,
I hope you are enjoying your summer so far. I wanted to share a staffing update for the upcoming school year.
As indicated in previous Paw Prints communications, we will be expanding and growing next year and this will mean some staffing changes and additions.
We are happy to announce that Ms. Leach’s will be joining Mrs. Polsczak in Kindergarten next year. Ms. Leach has done an amazing job as our Phys. Ed and Art teacher but is very excited to return to kindergarten!
We are also excited to see Mrs. Robbins join Mrs. Kelley in grade 2 for the coming year. Mrs. Robbins has taught both first and second grade here at the Heart!
Mrs. Gerschutz will be joining Mrs. Blake giving us two fourth grade home rooms. Mrs. Gerschutz has enjoyed her time in grade three but is also excited for the move.
Joining Ms. Powers in third grade will be Mrs. Jennifer Myers. Mrs. Myers has spent the last 28 years at Keystone Local Schools in Lagrange, Ohio. She has served a wide range of students in grades K-8 in both the special and regular educational settings. Her most recent position was that of 4th grade Science and Social Studies teacher at Keystone Elementary. In January of 2022, Jennifer and her family moved to Wadsworth and established a new home here. Her daughter Camille will be a 4th grader next year at Sacred Heart. Her husband is an owner of an environmental company in Canal Fulton and her son is finishing up his studies to be a licensed Pharmacist. Jennifer and her family are also parishioners at Sacred Heart Parish. In her free time, Jennifer likes to read, bake, travel, and spend time with family. She is looking forward to a new chapter in her educational career at Sacred Heart and feels blessed to able to put Jesus at the center of children’s learning. We are excited to welcome Mrs. Myers and believe that she and Ms. Powers will make an amazing team in grade 3.
With Ms. Leach’s move to kindergarten we are currently seeking candidates for the Phys. Ed and Art positions. These are part time teaching positions. If you know of anyone who would be interested please have them contact me or see our school website for more information.
Mrs. Erin Gable will also be stepping down as our Extended Care Afternoon supervisor. If you or someone you know is interested in this vital position please have them contact me via email. We will miss Mrs. Gable who did an amazing job this year!
YOUR HELP IN SPREADING THE WORD. As our number one source for recruiting new families I am asking for your help in spreading the word of our continued growth. We still have openings for new families. You can direct prospective families to our website where they can begin the application process. Thank you in advance for sharing your love of our school with new families!
I wish you a blessed summer!
In Christ,
Mr. Czaplicki
