Attention parents of student-athletes! It’s that time of year again. Sports physicals are July 25th at the high school from 4 pm to 6 pm. Physicals are provided by Henry Ford Allegiance Sports Medicine for $20, check or cash. Students also need to bring the forms signed by a parent. Forms are available in the high school office. Are you interested in helping to support the athletic program at Columbia Central? We are starting an Athletic Booster organization for the 2019-2020 school year. Please attend the first informational meeting on August 7 at 6 PM in the CCHS library. The Fall athletic season begins on Monday, August 12 and your support of our student-athletes is so appreciated!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Columbia School District. All volunteers must complete the Columbia School District Volunteer Release Form/Background Check each year. Any adult that plans to chaperone school field trips, attend classroom parties, volunteer in classrooms, assist with sporting teams/extracurricular clubs, etc. are required to complete the Volunteer Release Form and provide a photo ID. Forms can be completed in any District Office.

Immunizations are one of the most effective measures in protecting children from harmful diseases. The Michigan Public Health Code requires all children who attend school in Michigan to have an up-to-date immunization history or a valid waiver on file. A child who fails to meet these immunization requirements shall not be admitted into school. It is the responsibility of the parent(s)/guardian(s) to ensure that their child has received all required vaccinations. Children entering kindergarten and the 7th grade are required to have age-appropriate vaccination(s)/boosters. Summer is a great time to schedule the necessary appointments to make sure that your child is up to date.
