Shepard News & Notes
March 18, 2016
As we approach Spring Break, it is once again time to clear out the Lost & Found. All lost items have been placed on tables outside of our cafeteria for students to look through; any items not retrieved prior to Spring Break will be donated to charity. Please have your child pick up anything they may have lost before then!
Warm Regards,
John
2nd/FINAL Posting - BrightBytes 1:1 Impact Survey

3rd/FINAL Posting - Deerfield Parent Network
Deerfield Parent Network Needs You!
Deerfield Parent Network (DPN) is an all-parent, volunteer board that offers many ways to “grow” with your children whether you’re new to the middle school community or graduating on to DHS. We have the following openings available at this time and welcome all parents with fresh ideas/enthusiasm:
Shepard and Caruso Representatives — Looking for 1-2 parents from each middle school to work as a team to coordinate 1 or 2 programs that serve to address topics of interest/concern among parents of middle schoolers. Benefits are meeting parents from both middle schools and working closely with school staff/administrators. Minimal time commitment so open to working parents too.
Freshmen Representatives — Looking for several parents to work with the yet to be named DHS principal as well as other DHS staff to coordinate a few programs that benefit all incoming freshmen parents. A terrific way to stay involved at the high school level while meeting freshmen parents and working directly with DHS staff who interact with your children. Open to working parents too.
If you’re interested and/or would like more information, please contact Martha Silberman at mdsilberman3@gmail.com. For more information on Deerfield Parent Network, please visit deerfieldparentnetwork.org.
