Principal's Message

Next Week is STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK! Have your child bring a flower, a card, read a poem, make something for a staff member, or just have some kind words for their teachers.


We are having so much fun over here! We had our amazing BMX riders come to our school assembly.


Some reminders about behavior: please speak to your children about appropriate and respectful behavior to all staff. Encourage kind words and the need for your children to listen to what adults are saying to them - we are here to keep them SAFE.

  • Student Store - Every other Tuesday ( 5/10, 5/24) - Student Council opened their Student Store. It is located in the library, room D3 from 12:00 - 12:30 PM. Please stop by and check it out.

  • Sunday, May 1st - Girls on the Run 5K at RCHS 9:00 AM (Participants need to be there an hour before)

  • Monday, May 2nd - School Site Council 5:00 PM

  • Wednesday, May 4th - Bike to School Day / PTA Family Science Night 5:30 PM in MU

  • Sunday, May 8th - Mother’s Day

  • Thursday, May 12 - OPEN HOUSE 5:30 PM

  • Masks are optional for all, but highly recommended.

  • Below is the CrisisGo link for signing up your child to be tested and for receiving results from the district. This is a one time sign up for the school year. Insurance is now required to test on sites. https://webapp.crisisgo.net/testing-consent/#/register/select-identity?workspaceId=17811

  • COVID testing: If you take a test and you need it to allow your student into class, please be sure to take a picture of the results and email it to Linda_Ortega@crpusd.org along with your child’s name and the date taken. These tests must be FDA approved. We must have a copy to allow them back into school if they have symptoms. Please contact the school at 707-792-4845 if you have any questions. The district offers drive through testing at Technology Middle School, M-F 11:30-1:30 for any day school is in session. Insurance is now required for all testing.

COVID Vaccines - As students are starting to get vaccinated, please stop by the office once both vaccines are complete and let us make a copy for our records. We don’t need to have a copy until both vaccines have been administered. Please know, these vaccines are not mandatory or required at this time. This is simply for your student’s record. Please contact the office at 707-792-4845 if you have any questions.

Important Upcoming Dates

Please schedule appointments outside of school hours, if possible. Also, please make sure your child eats a healthy breakfast and comes to school ready to do their personal best.

Talking to your child about global conflict and war

Many of our students are aware of growing global conflict and the war in Ukraine, I've attached some resources for speaking to your children about their concerns.

Sonoma County Library

All CRPUSD students now have access to digital resources through the Sonoma County Library. All our students have to do is use their student ID numbers to access all digital content. Here is the link One Card & Digital Resources. Please share with your families & staff.
