TME/EOC/CTE Testing Schedule

NHHS students and families we are getting down to the end! Included is information regarding the plan for Teacher Made Exams, EOC and CTE exams:

May 27 - Memorial Day Holiday, No School
May 28 - TME 1st and 3rd (No Flex class/bell schedule)
May 29 - TME 2nd and 4th (No Flex class/bell schedule)

AM - 2nd block exam/class

AM - 3rd block exam/class

June 5 - Make up exams/Last Day of School Half Day Schedule

If students have a CTE or EOC (English 2, Math 1, Math 3, or Biology) exam, it is crucial that they report to school on the day of their exam unless there is a medical issue or family emergency.

Attendance Makeup Sessions

I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet. A pawn and a king. I've been up and down and over and out, And I know one thing. Each time I find myself flat on my face, I pick myself up and get back in the race. That’s Life and this semester is drawing to a close, but you can get back into the race with our last 3 days of make up sessions for attendance as follows:

Tuesday 5/21 from 3:45 to 5:45 pm
Saturday 5/25 from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm
Tuesday 5/28 from 3:34 to 5:45 pm

All sessions will be held in the Media Center. Students and parents who have questions regarding attendance should read the attendance information posted on our school website. As a reminder, students must not have more than 10 unexcused absences in semester-long classes or 20 unexcused absences in yearlong classes. Unexcused absences are coded as 2A in PowerSchool. All other attendance codes do not count as unexcused.

Seniors, graduation information is available on the NHHS Website. Important dates ahead include:

May 29 - Last Day to pay fines and turn in your Grad Ticket Form to Mrs. Marcinowski in room 105. Senior Awards Night - 6:00 pm at Brogden Hall
June 3 Grad Practice in Brogden Hall from 1-3. Grad Tickets will be given out after the practice
June 7 Commencement in Brogden Hall at 7:00. Graduates report to Legion Stadium at 5:15

Yearbook Distribution

Let's give 'em something to talk about! A little mystery to figure out. Let's give 'em something to talk about! How about the 2024 yearbook is here and it is ready to be distributed! Beginning Monday, yearbooks can be picked up during all lunches just outside of the cafeteria. Books will also be available after school Monday in room 206 and before/after school Tuesday in 206 as well. There are still some books available for purchase at www.balfour.com on a first come first serve basis.

NHHS Athletic Updates

We have so much to celebrate this week!

Fore! The NHHS Golf Team finished Runner Up in the State Championship Tournament last week! Congratulations Carson Etters, Will Cherry, William Davis, Chris Etters, and Frank Averitt.
And We have a Champion my friends! Cashmere James is the State Champion in the 400 Meters. He set a state and meet record with a time of 46.20. This record had been long standing since 1983. With this time he is #7 in the US. Cashmere also placed 3rd in the 100M and 3rd in the 200M at the State Championships. We are also very proud of Sinai Ballard and Madelyn Stetson for competing in the track State Championships!
