Coming Soon Open Enrollment

There are two things that must be completed to be ready for May 4th:

1. Log into Employee Self Service

2. View the Step Up for Open Enrollment video

This newsletter is designed to ensure that employees can access Employee Self Service prior to Open Enrollment which takes place on May 4 - May 20 and that employees are aware of upcoming changes to the benefits plans.

Please take five minutes to log into the system TODAY. Any employee who needs Employee Self Service Assistance should contact Deldra.Gregory-Colvin@colonial.k12.de.us immediately. Help will be provided via telephone conference call or Zoom video meeting.

Please remember - your USERID is your Employee ID number.

1. After selecting gold Employee Self Service Button
   
2. Select the Forgot Password functionality after selecting the gold login button below.
3. Input your User ID and your Home Zip Code (or Postal Code). Remember, your User ID is your Employee ID number. If you need to validate your Employee ID number and/or your Home Zip Code (or Postal Code), contact your local HR Department.
4. Input your last name.
5. Enter Date of Birth: TWO digit birth month, LAST TWO digits of birth year (no slashes). Example: 1064
6. Enter the last FOUR digits of SSN.
7. Create new password.

This video will provide information on changes for the upcoming year. Please review this video to learn about changes to Flexible Spending, the new administrator for AFLAC and the opportunity to enroll or increase the State Life Insurance administered by Securian. When ask - please select DOE, K12, DTCC and DSU Employees as group type.

Also - take note the prices reflected in the video are for State Employees. The monthly rates for Colonial School District are listed below. Take note, there is a 3% increase for dental rates and no rate increase for vision.
