Field Trip to Clear Creek Makerspace
On a recent field trip, the Golden High School Makerspace students had an opportunity to visit the Clear Creek Makerspace in Wheat Ridge. Our students immersed themselves in a dynamic environment that fosters creativity and hands-on learning and observed cutting-edge tools and technologies, including 3D printers, plasma cutters, and woodworking and metalworking equipment. The experience provided students with practical insights into design, fabrication, and innovation, sparking enthusiasm for potential future careers in STEM and the arts. Beyond skill-building, the visit highlighted the importance of community collaboration with their tour guide being a GHS Alum, as well as resource sharing, leaving students inspired by the possibilities that such a creative space offers.
For more information about the Clear Creek Makerspace, please visit their facility at 9110 W. 44th Avenue Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 or their website at https://clearcreekmakerspace.com/

Important Information about Athletic Registration for 25-26 School Year
Please Note: Athletic Registration Platform will be changing next school year (2025-26). Jeffco schools will no longer be using the rschools athletic registration and ALL families will be required to create a new family account. Only one family account per athlete is permitted. If you have a sports physical attached to the current registration platform, you will need to save it as it will not be carried over to the new platform. The CHSAA sports physical form will be the only form accepted moving forward. A sports physical is required for athletic registration and is good for 365 days. You can find the form on the GHS Athletic website. Please contact Amber Hayes (Amber.Hayes@jeffco.k12.co.us) with any questions.
Golden Hour Fest
The sun is setting on an unforgettable year at Warren Tech, and we’re sending it off right.
3 stages. 11 bands! Food trucks. Local vendors.
This is the Golden Hour Fest — a year-end celebration run almost entirely by our students in Live Sound & Event Production. As part of our Career & Technical Education program, this festival is more than just a show — it’s the culmination of a year of hard work, hands-on learning, and passion for live music.
Right before our seniors graduate, we’re throwing one final blowout!
Proceeds support local artists, the Dakota Ridge facilities team, and Warren Tech programs. Come out, vibe, and support the future of the live events industry — still in high school.
