Weekly Happenings
Week of 3/26/18
A Message from the Administrator
Greetings MCS Families,
We have a busy few weeks ahead of us. Our biggest event this week is the admissions lottery which will be held on Friday at 1 pm. Bill Hall, a former parent and local realtor, will be coming in and pulling the names for the lottery. A reminder that if you have a student that is already enrolled, their spot is secured for next year. Siblings of current students take priority and so on from there.
The 3rd quarter will end on Thursday, April 4th and conferences will take place on Friday, April 5th. This is a great time for you to meet with teachers to ensure your child has a successful end of the school year. Information on how to sign up for Parent Teacher Conferences should have been sent to you from the classroom teacher.
I would like to thank our PAT for the hard work that was put in for our BINGO night! It was a huge success and a lot of fun was had by all that attended. Our MOSS group raised $523.50 from the taco bar and the PAT raised over $2,000. Thank you to everyone who attended and the sponsors that donated prizes.
Have a great week!
Sincerely,
Tony Bonuccelli

Join the Pride!!
While our suggested donation is $205 a year per student, we also want to let you know that no donation is too big or too small!! Help us reach our goal this year of 100% participation!
Check out our lion!! We have now reached 40% of our families who have contributed to the 2017-2018 school year. We want to thank all of you who have donated. Your donations are important to MCS! As a charter school, we don't collect local funding from property taxes or bonds and levies and therefore receive significantly less funding than other public schools. Your donations help support the following things and more:
- Specialty programs: Art, Music, Theater, Movement and Technology
- School Field Trips
- Science Experiments
- Classroom Supplies
- Curriculum Enrichment
- Robotics Kits
- The School Expansion
It is not to late to Join the Pride, donations in the form of cash and checks can be dropped off at the front office or made via credit card on our website.
If you have made a donation but haven't received a car magnet, please stop by the office.
A Message from the PAT
A special thank you to all our generous donors, all the people who helped clean up afterwards, the PAT members who worked so hard to make this event happen, and a huge thank you to Tony for keeping us entertained all evening while announcing the bingo numbers and winners.
