Young Author Celebration
All elementary students participate in the Young Authors Program during the third quarter. The program is designed to celebrate and support student writing. All students summited a piece of writing to their teacher. Each classroom will then select one student’s story or poem to represent their room. Twenty-five young authors were recognized at a Young Authors Celebration on April 29th. After two weather-related postponements, we were thrilled to finally host our Young Authors Celebration! A special thank you to our guest speakers, Greg Wagner from Nebraska Game & Parks and Jack Keenan from KETV, who shared how they use writing to inform and entertain their audiences. What a powerful reminder of the real-world impact of strong communication skills!
