A Message From Mr. Johnson:
Hello Sandhill Families,
Here are some updates and reminders as we head into the final week before Winter Break:
Dress-Up Days: We have fun dress-up days planned all this week leading up to break! More information is below.
Stuff the Stockings: This event wrapped up last week, and we’re so proud of the generosity of our Sandhill community. The totals and winning classrooms will be announced this week—stay tuned!
Winter Benchmarking and Reading Plans: If your child (in grades K-3) scored below the 25th percentile in our winter benchmarking, you will likely receive an email from me through NextPath. This is not spam—please take a moment to view the reading plan outlining the supports in place for your child AND acknowledge the plan. This process is a new requirement from Wisconsin’s Act 20, but the primary change is the formalization of these plans. Thank you for helping us meet state requirements and support our students’ learning.
Giving Tree: A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the Giving Tree this year. While our Working for Kids (WFK) group led the effort, it’s truly a team and community-wide event that helps support students in need across SASD. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your ongoing support, and I hope everyone has a wonderful final week before Winter Break!
Warm wishes,
Bob / Mr. Johnson
