We made it to another week. Yay!! The students are working hard on their BOY assessments, getting enough rest, and eating nutritious breakfasts. We are now in full swing of assignments, homework, and projects. Please ensure you are signed up for Parent Portal alerts to track your student’s progress.
Our first two club meetings this week are Robotics and Chess.
Please be on the lookout for upcoming events in our newsletter.
Our cross-country teams both came in second place last week. Way to go, Griffins!!
Parents, please practice community with our neighbors. The gates will be open at 3:40 p.m.
Please do not block the exits and the fire lanes. Please and thank you.
What a great start to the new school year! Make sure you meet our new assistant principal, Mr. Dermott.

ID System STARTING NEXT WEEK
Parents thank you for an outstanding start to the school year! One of our ultimate goals is teaching our students self-management and executive function skills. These include organization, accountability, and responsibility. In an effort to foster these skills we have made changes to the ID Policy and wanted to make you aware of the changes before they go live on Tuesday, August 27th. Please take time to review the slideshow that outlines the new ID policy linked here.
If you wish, secondary IDs are available for $5.00 and can be purchased by your student before school from Mrs. Murphree. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact administration via email. Thank you for making ACA great! GO GRIFFINS!

We have updated our Extra Curricular Handbook for all students who participate in any club, performance oriented class, or athletic teams. Please click on the link below for review. We are asking ALL STUDENTS and parents to read and sign. We encourage every student to find a club or after school group they enjoy!
