Around Our Campus
Encouraging, Empowering, and Educating
News you can use.....
- We have set dates for TSI. We will be testing on March 6-8 in one of the labs. You will have more details as soon as we have them.
- To be sensitive to our transgender students I am asking that you print the name the student is called by on the roll sheets for the subs as well as a note in your sub plans about the student's preferred name and the correct pronoun that should be used.
- Anytime we are out on a Monday, progress emails must be mailed to parents on the next school day. So the Tuesday after President's day you will need to send out student progress emails.
- Anytime we are going to be out for an extended period of time (Spring Break) we need to send out progress emails on Friday before we leave. Which means that the progress tracker will need to be updated on Thursday evening. I will send out a reminder about this as we get closer to the break.
- Please remember we are the models for our students. We should not have our cell phone out and visible to students in the classrooms.
- If you leave campus for any reason or at any time during the day please make sure your sign out in the front office. If the door is lock please make someone in one of the offices is aware. It is a safety issue.

Circles in the Classrooms
Just to make sure we are all on the same page..... the expectation is that you will do a quick check-in circle 1st period every day and your community building circle on Wednesday. You check-in circle can be as simple as thumbs up, sideways or down, a quick round of "I'd rather" or a color check. Make it as light and as fun as you want. You are welcome to do a circle with any class that you feel it would be appropriate.
- The math department and especially Brenda and Melanie for a 20%+ growth in the EOC passing rate over their results from last year.

- Thanks to everyone who helped cover classes last week.
- And thanks to Joe and Michael who covered classes twice last week.
