NISCA Membership
Membership Contest Winner!
Thanks to those who followed the instructions in last month's eblast: Trevor Timmons, Linda Wiginton, Thomas Musch, Martijn Keltner and Dan Schaeberle! Winner of the free NISCA membership by random drawing was Thomas Musch from Waubonsie Valley (IL). Congrats!
The '24-'25 NISCA Membership year has started.
Your NISCA membership is tied into the current school year. That means that as of July 31st, your '23-'24 membership year ended, and your '24-'25 membership is waiting to be renewed! It doesn't matter when you purchased your membership, it expired on July 31st.
Renew your membership RIGHT NOW so that you don't forget. That way you won't miss a Journal, and you'll get ALL the information from your friendly neighborhood webmaster/secretary. Also, until you renew your membership you won't be able to log into the website, have access to the member's only parts of the NISCA website, and you won't be able to reset your Password. See below for more information about renewing.
How to Renew your Membership
- Go to https://www.be.niscaonline.org/Membership/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/membership/Members/Renew.aspx.
- Log in with Your NISCA NUMBER and EMAIL ADDRESS (the one I sent this email to)

NISCA National Conference
Save The Date! June 22-25, 2025
We are trying something new this year. Instead of having our NISCA National Conference in conjunction with the NCAA's, we are moving it to June! We hope this will allow more coaches (and their families) to attend. We chose a location, San Antonio, TX, and a hotel that is family-friendly too!
Join us and experience San Antonio's unique blend of Texan and Mexican traditions. Explore the luminous River Walk, visit the historic Alamo. Enjoy NISCA's Conference 2025 with it's clinics and participate in the workings of your organization. Become involved. How about a round of golf, maybe NISCA's First Tournament? Let us know if you are interested. Dates are set for June 22 through June 25. Save the dates and we'll have the agenda, sign up information and hotel booking link available next month.
Fundraising Made Fun (and easy!)
NISCA and WiddyUp
A note from the Webmaster: I have used WiddyUp for the last 3 years. My team of 20 or so inner city swimmers have raised at least $5000 each year, and all it costs me is a day of practice to get the videos shot and dinner for the top 2 highest earners. The kids and the donors love it, and it's so easy. If you're looking for a great fundraiser, look no further!

Hour of Power - Join us!
NISCA Coaches:
I hope your seasons have gone extremely well for you and your athletes!
We are up to 31 high school teams across 7 states that have participated this school year in the Hour of Power benefiting the Ted Mullin Fund and sarcoma research . If you are like us in Texas, we are into our off-season training and beginning to lay the foundation for next year's team. It is not too late to have your team participate before the year ends. Hosting an Hour of Power is a high energy way to attract new athletes to your teams as well as a meaningful way to give!
Here is the link to register your event with the Ted Mullin Fund: Register Here
Once you register, you will be in contact with Rick and Mary (Ted's parents) who manage the Fund. They can set you up with a donation link that you can share with your communities at the time of your event to help raise money for sarcoma research.
Please consider joining the other high schools and let's see if we can check off a few more states! The updated flyer is attached here 👇
