One School, One Book has begun! Our book is called, Because of Winn-Dixie. Every student was given a copy of the book this week to take home, and we have started reading the book together as a school community. Whether your child can read the book themselves or they are listening to their parents read it to them, kids see the importance of reading when their parents are involved. We hope that your children and you find this special time reading together enjoyable.

The WPE WatchDOGS(Dads of Great Students) program helps provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. Meanwhile, we provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security, reduce bullying and provide a greater sense of campus safety allowing students and teachers to focus on learning and instruction.
