Save the Date
Please be sure to save the date for our Ranger Rally on August 15, 2025! This exciting event will include all the favorites—food trucks, bounce houses, community vendors, and festive back-to-school signs. But this year’s celebration will also feature two very special moments: the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the brand-new North Ridgeville High School and the opening of the Wilcox Elementary Time Capsule from 2000. It will be a day to celebrate our past, present, and future as a school community—and we hope you’ll join us!

ParentSquare
We’re excited to share that our Board of Education has officially approved ParentSquare as our new, district-wide communication platform!
Over the past few months, our team has carefully explored the best tools to improve how we connect with families. After evaluating several options and gathering input from a staff committee, ParentSquare stood out as the clear choice—and we think you’re going to love it.
Why ParentSquare?
ParentSquare will help us streamline communication and make it easier than ever to stay informed and involved in your child’s education. Here are just a few features we’re looking forward to:
-
All-in-One Communication: You’ll receive messages via email, text, and phone—all from one platform. You can choose to receive notifications as they come in or a singular report at a time of your choosing.
-
Classroom Updates: Teachers can send group or individual messages, helping keep you connected to what’s happening at school.
-
PowerSchool Integration: Information like class rosters, sports teams, and bus routes will be synced automatically.
-
One App, One Place: No more juggling multiple apps like ClassDojo or Remind—ParentSquare puts everything in one place.
Additional Features Include:
-
RSVP and volunteer sign-ups
-
Sticker charts for classroom rewards
-
A user-friendly app that feels like a social media feed
-
Quick access to links like PaySchools and extracurricular sites
What to Expect
Starting with the 2025–2026 school year, ParentSquare will officially replace ClassDojo and Remind across the district.
We’ll begin testing this summer with coaches and extracurricular groups to fine-tune the system. As we prepare for the school year, we’ll continue building out classroom, grade-level, and school-specific groups to ensure a smooth transition.
We’ll keep you updated along the way, and we’re here to help if you have any questions. We’re excited about the possibilities ParentSquare brings—making communication easier, more efficient, and more connected for our entire school community.

Upcoming Parking Changes
We’re excited to share that construction on the new high school will officially begin this summer! This marks a significant milestone for our district as we continue to grow and invest in the future of our students.
With progress, however, comes temporary disruption. The construction site will occupy the entire main parking lot in front of the current high school building, which will impact parking and traffic flow for the 2025–2026 school year.
To address this, new lots will be created and there will be designated parking areas for students and visitors when school resumes in the fall. These arrangements will be closely monitored and adjusted as needed to ensure our daily operations run as smoothly as possible.
We appreciate your patience and flexibility during this transitional time. Additional updates and detailed parking information will be shared over the summer as construction moves forward.
Thank you for your continued support as we build a stronger future for our students and community!
