Spring Campus Care Event Tomorrow!
Campus Care Event tomorrow, Saturday, May 18th from 10:00am - 3:00pm
Please join the Bateman Fathers' Club tomorrow for the final BENCH INSTALL and clean up. Come any time between 10:00am and 3:00pm!
One group will be helping to install the final 3 benches along Richmond. They have been prefabricated and we will be putting them in place, leveling out the ground, and making sure they're fastened in.
Another group will be assisting w/ the front greenery area. We will be cutting back weeds and trimming back the trail that connects the classrooms to the front of the school. We will also pick up any trash and help beautify the area, as well.
Please bring along your gardening tools to help assist. Rakes, shovels, lawn scissors, or whatever might help! There will be plenty to keep Dads busy, and kids are welcome to participate in the clean up, as well. Saturday looks to be a beautiful day, so come out and #BeBateman!
Athletic Awards Night Reminder
Thursday, May 23rd at 5pm | Auditorium
We are looking forward to seeing you for our first Athletic Awards Night! We will be celebrating this year's student-athletes in the following sports: basketball, soccer, volleyball, and chess. Please return the flyer with your information to Mr. Nowak as soon as possible so that we may continue to plan for the event. This event is open to student athletes and their families.
Summer Reading Challenge Sign Up
Sign Up by Friday, May 31st!
If you would like to sign up your child(ren) to participate in the Summer Reading Challenge 24-25, please complete the sign up below! All students will meet on the last day of school to receive their notebook, review the steps to complete the challenge, and get excited! Students must be enrolled at Bateman in the 2024-2025 school year to participate. Please complete one sign up per child!
Students will be asked to read 25+ books and write a response to each book in their notebooks. Readers who complete the challenge AND turn in their notebooks to Ms. Kloepper during the first week of school will be invited to a fun celebration in September!
End of the Year Dance (5th-7th)
Friday, May 31st from 3:30pm - 5pm
Current Fifth through Seventh are invited to attend the End of the Year Dance on the Bateman Turf (weather permitting)! All attendees must be Bateman students with signed permission forms to enter. Entry is $5. All proceeds go to next year's 8th Grade trip to DC! Permission Forms will be passed out in class the week of May 27th.
