WEEKLY PARENT NEWSLETTER
SEPTEMBER 6, 2024
Dear St. Patrick School Families,
Welcome Back to School! We have had a short but wonderful week of so many events! From the New Family Reception and the Welcome Back to School event, to our opening liturgy, this has truly been a week of blessings! Each week this newsletter will provide all families with updates and important notices so that you know what has been happening and will happen in the week ahead. You may also access the Parent Portal for dates, times and additional information. Communication and working in partnership with families is very important to us.
I invite all parents to attend Back to School Night next Thursday, September 12 at 7PM in the gym. This evening will provide an opportunity for you to learn about what your child will be experiencing this coming year. The faculty, staff and I look forward to seeing you there!
I also want to take a moment to remind parents to update the Parent Portal Contact information. It is vital that we have accurate contact information in the case of an emergency. Instructions were included in the summer newsletters prior to the start of school. It is very important that parents are listed as the first two contacts. It is also important that contacts 3 and 4 are completed as well. Next week, we will have to test the emergency alert system. We ask for your cooperation in ensuring that we can run this test with correct information.
I wish everyone a restful and blessed weekend!
Blessings,
Dr. Christine Ross
Principal
DID YOUR CHILD GET THEIR SPIRIT T-SHIRT AT THE WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT?
Thank you to Mrs. Corinne DeJianne and her mother, Mrs. Francine Alcorn, who comprise Alcorn DeJianne Real Estate @ Coldwell Banker for donating the spirit t-shirts for all students! We are extremely grateful for your support of St. Patrick School.

REMINDER: PROCEDURE FOR FORGOTTEN LUNCH BOXES
St. Patrick School is always looking for ways to improve efficiencies in our School Office. At this time, we are implementing a new procedure for forgotten lunch drop-offs at the school. A bin with a white top has been placed outside the main entrance on Chatham Street. We kindly ask that all parents and caregivers who need to bring forgotten lunches place the items in this bin. The bin will be checked periodically and the items will be delivered to the students. Be sure and label items being placed in the bin. Any questions? Email schooloffice@st-pats.org.

HELP THE HSA SUPPORT OUR AMAZING FACULTY BY MAKING YOUR CONTRIBUTION TODAY!
Supporting the faculty and staff at St. Patrick School is one of the main priorities of the Home & School Association. In the past, the HSA has asked for donations from families throughout the school year to help with events and funding such as teacher appreciation gifts and treats, the annual Catholic Schools Week Faculty/Staff luncheon, holiday and year-end gifts, and more! To make it easier for you and to simplify our efforts, the HSA is consolidating our fundraising requests and asking each family to donate $65 per student by August 30th. Please click on the link below to make your donation today! We hope that this will be easier for you! This up-front donation will cover our needs to ensure that all of us - the HSA and our school families - are able to support the school all year round. Any questions? Please email spshsa@st-pats.org. The HSA greatly appreciates your support!
