iPad 1:1 Program for EHS Continues
All students, including freshmen, will be using their iPad as school begins. This is a continuation of the use of 1:1 technology to enhance learning within the classroom and at home. We hope that all students have a stylus to use with their iPad.
Freshmen who were enrolled in District 196 middle schools will continue to use their 8th grade iPad as school begins. Freshmen new to District 196 will also receive an iPad for this school year. Watch for more information in our August newsletter.
EHS will be hosting a Schoology help session for all students new to District 196 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Monday, August 26th in the EHS Library.
Once again, students and parents/guardians will need to sign a user agreement. Details will be available later on accessing these forms using EduTrack (the new payment system_) - watch for it in August.
PAWS
Freshmen students will be assigned to a PAWS (People Achieving Wildcat Spirit) class. PAWS is our daily homeroom period each day from (9:24-9:39 a.m.) that consists of members from every EHS class -- freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors -- with the same homeroom teacher throughout their four years of high school. The goal of PAWS is to make a large school smaller, and to provide our students with an adult advocate in the building.
Some of the PAWS activities include school-wide spirit competitions, grade checks, Eagan AM broadcasts, Armful of Love holiday donations, food shelves donations, and Academic Days. It is also an appropriate time for students to take 15 minutes out of their busy day to “catch their breath” as they move through a full 7-period class schedule.
School Supplies - Back to School Sales
What to Purchase?

- Ballpoint pens, black & red
- Protractor and compass for Geometry students
- #2 Pencils or mechanical pencils
