FFA
FFA held the annual Greenhand ceremony this past week. As usual it was a great event. Things were well organized and very entertaining. The Keynote speaker this year was long time FFA partner Bob Hoel, owner of Hoel Roofing. Bob had a great message for the kids and it also resonated with adults in the room. It was great to see all of the kids receiving their first jacket and zipping it up for the very first time. FFA is such a great program and teaches kids not only about agriculture but also hard work and leadership. Thank you to the Ms. DeLey, Ms. Yager, and the FFA officers for a wonderful evening!!!

The first time through is always a tough one and a great learning curve with material that she learned just a few years ago, but she spends hours making sure that she has a great handle on the material and concepts and is prepared! Her excellent organizational skills are amazing, and I have learned a lot from her!

LINKS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Drop Off/Pick Up
This is a reminder that there is a crosswalk on Harrison Street (the road east of the teacher parking lot). If you are dropping off (or picking up) your student on Harrison, you must stay on the correct side of the road. This is not a one-way and there are cars (and busses) coming both directions. It is imperative that everyone stay on their corresponding sides of the road for student safety. Please advise your students to use the crosswalk because there are many cars in that area.
