Falcon Flyer
Belong. Inspire. Grow.
Straight from the Hardt
Hello Ridgeline Families- The weeks are rapidly winding up and winding down, so brace yourself. That’s more for me…I’m bracing myself. We’re excited looking ahead toward graduation and the fun and hectic final days of school. There’s quite a few end-of-year events coming up you’ll want to be aware of, so check out more in today’s Flyer. We had a great playoff run with our GSL champ baseball and soccer teams. Like most sporting events, it ended before the teams had hoped for, but we’re really proud of the boys for their effort and success that Ridgeline hasn’t achieved before! We’ve got the girls and boys golf teams headed to state next week and we wish them the best of luck!
In the Principal life, it is one event to the next. There isn’t much time to stop and ‘smell the roses’! You finish one moment and prepare for the next. We’re AP testing, we have the Job Fair, we have sports, we have the daily meetings, and we have 1500 kids to get across the finish line of another year of high school. If you’re the parent of a senior, I know you’re also scrambling around getting ready for all things graduation and preparing grown child for what’s coming next. There are a lot of senior activities scheduled in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out.
This Saturday the Ridgeline Regiment and Spirit Squads will be proudly representing our school and community in the annual Lilac Festival Armed Forces Torchlight Parade! Parade begins at 7:30pm, downtown Spokane.
We have a unique privilege of being the host site for the Candidate Forum for OSPI State Superintendent of Public Instruction. This is the only forum being held in our region. Ridgeline students and other local high school students will be asking questions of each candidate. If you are interested in hearing from individuals who will be shaping education policy in the coming years, please come to the Ridgeline Theater, this Monday, May 20-- 6:30pm. This is a free event, sponsored by the League of Women Voters. There is more information and a list of candidates in this newsletter.
There is lots on the calendar, so please skim the Flyer to be informed!
Make it a great weekend! --Mr. Hardt

2024 Senior Survey
Greetings, Senior parents/guardians! Each year, I send out a Senior Survey at year end to collect important information from students. Among other things, their answers will help us learn more about their post-high school plans and how RHS can support students who will come after them. For those attending a college or university next fall, completing Question #7 will enable us to get their FINAL TRANSCRIPTS out to their colleges/universities on time. So completing this survey is vitally important, as students may not be able to register for college/university classes until their chosen institutions receive their final transcripts.) Please encourage your student(s) to access the link Mr. Spraggins provided in Google Classroom and complete the survey. Thanks for helping us help them, and please contact Mr. Spraggins with any questions (bspraggins@cvsd.org)!
