itslearning: Which Test tool is the right one? (REPEAT - PLEASE SHARE)

Those of you in Forsyth or anyone else out there using itslearning may have noticed that there are now TWO Test tools in itslearning when you go to add an Activity.

Unfortunately, the one whose icon looks familiar is the new one and doesn't have many (MANY) of the features that we've become used to. It is still in development and may not be fully "complete" until much later.

Instead, when you need to add a Test, use the purple-y one that says it will be discontinued. Not to worry, you will be able to use it all year long and will still be able to use any tests you had previously created.

TextGiraffe

I just discovered this new site (thanks to Tony Vincent) that allows you to generate text in hundreds of fun formats that you can then copy or download to use in your own presentations or documents. The best part? It's FREE! It's not suitable for students without parent permission but that doesn't keep you from spicing up your files with some pop and color!

Auto-save in Google Forms?

Yes, please!

While we still have a while to wait, Google announced that Forms will begin auto-saving entries in Forms for 30 days. Why is that so cool? No longer do you have to worry about using a Form as a quiz or test, students not completing it in one sitting, and then having to start all over again!

Like I said, it won't start rolling out for us in Forsyth Co, look for it sometime after Sept 15.
