Third and Fourth Grade Spelling Bee
The 23-24 Brooklyn STEM Academy Spelling Bee took place on Thursday, January 11th. Starting with 18 strong competitors, students worked through 13 rounds with Brennick Bell earning 1st place and Liam O'Mullane as runner up! Congratulations to our winners, and we are proud of all of our competitors.
Gunner Burnam's Food Drive
Please help Brooklyn STEM Academy students collect non-perishable food items February 1st-15th to be donated to the Gunner Burnam Food Pantry. Gunner attended Brooklyn as an elementary student before developing cancer that eventually claimed his life. One of his goals in life was to be sure that everyone had food. His legacy continues through this food drive, which was started as his Eagle Scouts project that he was unable to finish. The drive serves many families in need in our community. Please help us contribute to this great cause!
