Half Day Reminder

This Wednesday, we have a half day! Dismissal will be at 12:06 PM, with our younger students dismissing first out front followed by our older students.

We are so excited to recognize some of our talented Parkwood students! On January 21st, seven of our Parkwood-Upjohn artists will be featured in a special art show at the KVCC campus located downtown.

This art show will showcase incredible artwork from students at Spring Valley, Lincoln, and Parkwood-Upjohn. It’s a unique opportunity that is not offered every year, making this event even more special!

"The Family Health Center provides all KPS schools with mobile health unit visits during the year. Parkwood-Upjohn's visit is scheduled for March 13-14th. They cover both medical (annual well-child visits, immunizations, and care for chronic conditions like asthma) and dental preventive care (twice-yearly dental cleanings, exams, and sealants). It is that time of year again and we are super excited to be able to perform for you guys once again this winter! This year the 5th grade students will be joining forces on stage with the orchestra students from Prairie Ridge, Woods Lake and El Sol in an amazing collaborative night of music making. The concert will be held at Chenery Auditorium on February 13th, 2025 at 6:30 pm.

Please make sure the following details are in your calendars now so that you are able to ensure that you student is at this amazing event!

Date: Thursday, February 13th

Time: 6:30 pm - 5:45 arrival time

Location: Chenery Auditorium - Enter through Dutton Street doors

Dress Code: "Dress to Impress"

Admission: Admission is free, so please invite your whole family

This is a required performance event, so please do all that you can to ensure that your student is there to perform along side all their orchestra colleagues!
