Mailings Have Been Sent!
Hardcopy mailings have been sent with teacher placement, welcome letters, forms needing signatures, arrival and dismissal information as well as stickers for students in kindergarten and first grade to wear on their first three days of school.
Please complete the forms included in the packets and return them at open house next week!
The arrival and dismissal information is very important. Doors will open at 7:35 am and breakfast will be served from 7:35-7:55 am each day! Instruction will begin at 7:55 am and end at 2:35 pm. Dismissal will begin at 2:40 pm. The bus loop in the front of the school will be closed prior to bus drop off and pick up. Following the arrival and dismissal process is critical as we work to ensure everyone has a safe start and end to their school day!
Information About The Office
The office is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm. When you call or need to come in, you will speak with Mrs. McDonald and Ms. Bake. They don't schedule appointments for teachers or the principal so if there is a question either of them cannot answer, they will suggest you reach out to your child's teacher first. Leaving a voicemail or sending an email will most often provide you what you are looking for!
The office will ONLY release children to those listed on the emergency form. If you need to add or omit someone from your child's form it needs to be done in person PRIOR to that person picking up your child. We can no longer take phone requests to do so.
Updating your child's contact information is vital! If you have an address change, change to a phone number, or other information please update it immediately in the office.
Medication
ALL students taking medication during the school day must complete the appropriate form(s). There have been some changes by the state of Michigan in regards to prescription medication at school. Now ALL prescription medication must have a doctor's signature. Our prescription medication forms have been updated across the district. Here are links to our updated prescription medication form and our over the counter medication form to help you get a head start.
