As we approach election day, I want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of maintaining a respectful and supportive school community, regardless of the outcomes. Our school is a place where we celebrate diverse opinions and foster open dialogue. It is vital that we model respect and kindness in all our interactions, especially during times of differing viewpoints.

Let’s remind our children that differing opinions can coexist, and that empathy and kindness are foundational to our core values. By demonstrating respect for all perspectives, we can create an environment where everyone feels safe and valued.

Fall conferences are this week on November 4th and November 7th. The teachers will share strategies, updates from formal and informal assessments, and other observations about your child and his/her progress. Parents are encouraged to bring their child to the conference. Student-involved conferences (or participation) is preferred, but we understand if you are not able to bring your child to the conference. We do have a system in place for student involvement so there is no pressure for parents to bring anything.

Henry’s Fine Dining Day is this Thursday, November 7th.

All Henry students are invited to dress their best, buy a "Thanksgiving Dinner" in the cafeteria (or bring their own lunch) and experience a FANCY dining experience! The cafeteria will be transformed on this special occasion for all students to enjoy!

NOTE: If you bring your lunch but would like to buy the special pumpkin dessert, please bring money or have money in your lunch account.

Thank you for joining us at the Book Fair Breakfast this past Saturday morning! The Book Fair is in full swing this week so make sure to check out the dates and times below.

• Fri Nov 8th 9:00 am - 10:30 am (Last day/student shopping)
