Dear BES families,
We've made it! What an awesome year with so many achievements for both students and staff! Thank you for your partnership and support! We have two half days left on Monday and Tuesday. We dismiss at 12:30 pm on each day. Our Kindergarten graduation is Monday, June 3rd @ 9:30 am. We will celebrate our 5th Graders on Tuesday 6/4 with a Send-off @ 9:30 am. Please be sure to sign your student out with the teacher/office if they are leaving after the ceremonies.
Summer MATH session begins on Tuesday June 11th and runs through the follow dates below:
June 11, 12, 13
June 18, 19, 20
June 25, 26, 27
Our second session for READING will take place on the follow dates:
July 16, 17, 18
July 23, 24, 25
July 30, 31 Aug. 1
Each program runs on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday of that week from 8 -11 am.
When families selected these weeks, they made a commitment for their student(s) to attend all nine days of the session. If your student becomes ill or there is a family emergency please call (810) 266-4671 to alert the teacher. Too many absences may result in removal from the summer program and may affect future summer availability.
Please drop your student(s) off door #1 (Main Entrance) along Maple Street each morning no earlier than 8 am. A bus will NOT be provided this summer. The summer program is parent pick-up and drop-off only. All summer learning will take place at Byron Elementary with a light snack being served to students.
