Mid-Year Update on Our Strategic Goals
Each year, the FSD79's Board of Education and Administration collaboratively creates annual action plans to advance our strategic goal areas and objectives. - Updated early entrance, single subject, and whole grade acceleration procedures
- Increased percentage of 8th graders completing Algebra I or Geometry
- Implemented 30-, 60-, and 90-day retention interviews for new staff
- Incorporated recognition programs, new mental health benefits, and multi-faceted professional learning
- Enhanced partnerships with aspiring educators
- Established a mentoring program for administrative assistants and lunchroom supervisors, while enacting one for paraprofessionals and substitutes
Financial & Facility Stewardship
