Next week is Staff Appreciation Week and we are so proud of our educators, counselors, and support team! Let's take a moment to recognize their collective impact on our students and families. From the classroom to science lab to art studio to band room to practice fields and beyond, our team shows up everyday to use their talents and knowledge to help students become the best version of themselves. They build relationships, solve problems, and teach important academic and life skills. There are many twists and turns along the way, but the journey together is one of growth and learning and we have the best team around at Jerome High School!

The PTO is hosting a Bibibop lunch for the DJHS teachers + Staff on Tuesday, 5.7, during Teacher + Staff Appreciation Week. They would love your help to provide drinks and dessert for the event. Please take a look at the sign-up - - any and all contributions are very much appreciated!

Please check out the below document containing a detailed AP exam schedule for Jerome High School, including times and locations for each exam. We are running a regular full class schedule during AP exams and students are expected to attend all classes not impacted by testing.

The District Dodgeball Tournament is just around the corner. Jerome High School is ready and prepared to compete under the lights at Coffman High School on Friday, May 10. We hope that you will be able to attend and cheer on our teams as we compete, and more importantly, raise money for our beneficiary, Glitter Girls Guild. This organization has directly impacted so many Dublin families during their critical time of need.

Jerome has two students with artwork currently on display at the Rhodes Office Tower downtown in the Governor's Youth Art Exhibition. There were more than 8,000 works entered statewide for judging. Seniors Hannah Fan and Keira Ordonio had pieces juried into the show of 300 artworks. Keira Ordonio had 5 paintings accepted into the show; the most of any student in Ohio. One of Keira's paintings received the Governor's Award of Excellence, an honor given to the top 25 artworks in the state. Congratulations Hannah and Keira!

Several Jerome Speech and Debate students earned recognition through the NSDA Honor Society. Each new degree represents hours of learning, practice, and improvement by your students thanks to dedicated coaching.

The following degrees were earned at Dublin Jerome High School:
Varshith Kamisetty - Superior Distinction, Outstanding Distinction, Premier Distinction
Manasvi Kothari - Excellence
Shalin Patel - Special Distinction
Karthik Thokala - Special Distinction, Superior Distinction, Outstanding Distinction

Sunday, May 5th from 9:30am-1pm- students will be hosting a community drive-thru event to collect plastic bags and shipping envelopes (no labels) at Jerome. Cars will enter the Brand Road parking lot, pull up to the main doors and students will come collect the plastic bags. In return, we will be giving free bundt cake coupons while supplies last.

There will be a chess tournament at Jerome on Saturday, May 18th.

Plastic Bag Recycling Drop-off

Don’t forget - Jerome students are hosting a community drive-thru event to collect plastic bags and shipping envelopes (no labels) at Jerome, THIS Sunday, May 5, from 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Enter the Brand Road parking lot, pull up to the main doors and students will come collect the plastic bags. Free bundt cake coupons will be given to participants while supplies last.

District Dodgeball Tournament Details

The district dodgeball tournament benefiting the Glitter Girls Guild is just around the corner, May 10 at Coffman Stadium. Gates open at 5:00 and the action starts at 6:00. Don’t miss out on this fun community event featuring students and staff from all schools, an Alumni All Star Team, the City of Dublin and corporate sponsors. Tickets are $7 in advance or $10 the day of the event. If you’re unable to attend and would like to support the cause you can make a donation here.
