I hope everyone had an awesome weekend and stayed dry!!! Definitely was one to hunker down inside and stay warm! We had another festive week last week, with highlights that included: spirited dress up days and a continuous Holiday Bingo game full of Christmas songs and carols, an amazing holiday lunch served up by our PTO parents on Friday, and ending the week with a Holiday Movie Night. We also had a good crowd brave the rain and come out to school on Saturday for the Santa Tour through Mills River.. Once again, it was another awesome week.

One week and two days remain until Winter Break...and still much to be done! Hang in there and do your best to be at school everyday!!

Christmas Lunch - Thursday, December 14th...WE NEED YOUR HELP!!

Just like we had for our Thanksgiving lunch, we need parent volunteers to help with lunch service and delivering lunch to our K-2 classrooms. The link to sign up is below.

Here is the adjusted lunch schedule for Christmas Lunch for 3-5 parents Thursday, December 14th:

Join us for the sixth annual Marlow Staff Caroling! Our teachers and staff are loading up our big yellow sleigh and caroling throughout the Marlow District!

On Thursday December 14th we will be at the following locations:

-6:00pm Windsor Forest neighborhood

-6:20pm River Birch neighborhood (301 Whispy Willow Court)

-6:40pm Kingswood Apartments (off N. Hillcrest Road)

-7:00pm Riverstone Clubhouse

-7:30pm Glens at Aberdeen Clubhouse

-7:50pm Hollabrook Clubhouse

Come one, come alll! Whether you live in any of these areas or not, join us for a night of caroling and fun!!!

Last week, all of our Grade Levels and Departments competed in a Gift Wrapping Challenge, and now we need your VOTE to decide a winner! All the groups had the same amount of materials and had to come up with the best looking gift wrapped package. Click on the link below to vote!

Voting ends Wednesday, and the winner will be announced at the Staff Christmas Party on Wednesday afternoon. VOTE TODAY!!!

Parents - We want to treat our teachers to a duty-free lunch this Friday, December 15th.

Just a reminder to parents that next Tuesday, December 19th, is a Noon Dismissal for students, as we close out the first semester and begin the Winter Break.

There will be no PSPM on offered Tuesday, December 19th. It will be closed.

Now that the Thanksgiving holiday is over, it seems like it's a mad sprint to Christmas, so to keep everyone informed, here is the December line-up for Marlow students and families:
