Veteran's Day Celebration will be 9-11am this Monday, November 11th at Ryckman Park.

Join us in Ryckman Park to celebrate our Veterans. Color Guard will kick off the ceremony at 9 AM. Speaker and Gemini Chorus to follow. Crafts for the Kids and "Meet a Hero" tables where Veterans will share more about their time in service.

Congratulations to all the students participating in Thursday's Jog-A-Thon! We're grateful for the generous donations we've received so far. If your pledge envelope or online donation wasn’t processed in time for Thursday’s event, your student will receive a form showing their completed lap count.

Thank you for helping us reach our goal! As our primary fundraiser of the year, this event greatly benefits the students and the Gemini community. We’ve already raised over $15,000, with about $7,000 still in pledges on the way—an amazing achievement! Keep an eye on Geminews over the next two weeks to see the final total, along with individual and class winners. This is my favorite event of the year, and it’s been so inspiring to see the students’ excitement! Thank you all for making this event a success—let’s keep up the great momentum! Donations are accepted through 99Pledges, cash, or check.

To be eligible for awards, donations are due by Friday, the 15th.

The success of this event goes beyond fundraising—it’s also thanks to the time and support from our amazing families! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to making Thursday’s event such a success. The cheering families truly made it fun for the kids!

Special thanks to Brenda, Carrie, Lauren, Sara, Sarah, Sonia, Mandy, and Tracey for working behind the scenes, as well as to Coach Bectol, Ms. Gleacher, Amy, Mike, and Alexis for all the help with setup and teardown. We also appreciate the families who provided the water & tents, the front office staff, and the teachers for promoting the event and encouraging the students.

Beginning Monday, August 26th, there will be one day a week that parents can sign up, in advance. Please include your child in the number of people you are signing up. • Parents must be on time for their child’s scheduled lunch time. • Parents must communicate with their child’s teacher that they will be coming to lunch on that day. • Parents must sign in at the front office and will be escorted to Center Court and supervised if they are not a registered volunteer. Registered volunteers do not need to be escorted or supervised during their lunch in Center Court. • Parents may only have lunch with their child. • We strongly suggest that younger siblings stay home as we will have limited seating available. • Please be mindful of time, your child will need to report back to the cafeteria before the end of their lunch period. Parents will sign out in the front office.
