Principal's Summer Update
A Message from Dr. Nadjarian
Dear St. Mary’s Families,
I would like to take this opportunity to inform you about an exciting new initiative that we are implementing at our school—mandatory parent volunteer hours!
At St. Mary's School, we firmly believe that parent involvement plays a crucial role in creating a vibrant and thriving school community. By actively participating in various school activities, you can make a significant impact on the educational experience of all our students. Your time, skills, and support are invaluable in helping us provide the best possible learning environment.
Starting this academic year, we will be introducing 10 mandatory volunteer hours for each family. We understand that each family has unique circumstances and commitments, which is why we have designed this initiative to be flexible and accommodating. We will provide a diverse range of volunteer opportunities, allowing you to choose activities that suit your schedules, interests, and strengths.
Volunteer activities can include assisting in classrooms, organizing events, chaperoning field trips, contributing to fundraising efforts, or participating in parent volunteer committees.
We understand that balancing work, family, and other commitments can be challenging. Therefore, we have designed the program to provide flexibility. We will consider alternative options such as evening or weekend events, or virtual volunteering. Our goal is to make it as convenient as possible for you to contribute your time and talents.
We deeply appreciate the involvement and dedication of our parents, and we want to express our gratitude for your commitment to our school community. Your volunteer hours will have a direct and positive impact on our students' educational journey, and we look forward to working together to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, we can continue to make our school an exceptional place for our children to learn and grow. Please be on the lookout for volunteer opportunities starting below!
